The process is named as acid stripping. But a dangerous fact known about this process is that it emits dangerous fumes which are poisonous and can lead to severe health problems. In order to avoid these problems, it is suggested that acid stripping must be employed in bay area and in industrial areas where population is least. This would help build e-waste dismantling production line in a healthy way.

India is an established and well populated country. Its e-waste is expected to increase up to 1 million tons per year. This is a huge amount of e-waste to be dismantled and recycled and thus there is a need of greater number of e-waste recycling plants in India. In 2010, about 23 e-waste recycling units were being registered in India to support a large population. As e-waste machinery cost may not be affordable in rural areas of India, so many small scale plants are present in many under-established areas like villages.
